The conference “Asset Management in Family Foundations”

On April 11th, we had the pleasure of participating in the conference “Asset Management in Family Foundations”, which brought together experts in law, finance, and succession planning. Initiated by Konrad Zacharzewski, Professor at Kozminski University, the event served as a platform for inspiring discussions on the future of family wealth and strategies for securing it across generations.

The enactment of the Family Foundation Act on January 26, 2023, has opened up new opportunities for entrepreneurs to build long-term, multigenerational capital. The family foundation model enables effective asset management, tax optimization, and the protection of family wealth from division and fragmentation.

During the conference, Katarzyna Alińska, Managing Director of the Development Foundation, delivered a presentation titled “Endowment Capital as a Management Tool for Kozminski University”, highlighting the concept of long-term financial security for educational institutions.

The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Family Business Institute and was officially opened by Bartek Nowak, Vice-Rector for External Relations, and Przemysław Drapała, Head of the Department of Civil Law at Kozminski University.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants and speakers for their inspiring contributions and valuable insights into the future of family foundations in Poland. This is only the beginning of an exciting journey!
