Elemental as the first university patron in Poland – a pioneering step in education-business cooperation
Elemental, a global leader in the urban mining industry, has become the first patron of Kozminski University, internationally recognized Polish business university, and thus established a new model of cooperation between education and business. The organization undertakes to donate almost PLN 2.5 million over three years to develop the university key projects.

Elemental is a Polish business founded by Paweł Jarski. It is a pioneer in the sustainable extraction of precious metals from the recycling of used automotive catalytic converters, electronic equipment (e-waste) and non-ferrous metals. The company operates globally in more than 35 countries, and it is committed to the innovative management of natural resource. The group has opened the first state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery recycling plant in Poland this year and plans to become the first company in Europe to achieve total energy independence.
Elemental’s patronage of Kozminski University is a breakthrough in the Polish cooperation between business and education, and it inspires other organisations to do the same.
