During the panel discussion “Endowment as a Tool for Building the Financial Independence of Institutions” we explored the role of endowment funds in ensuring the long-term stability of universities and social organizations, as well as the importance of building an endowment culture for the future of Poland’s economy and philanthropic education.
The discussion was introduced by a presentation from Katarzyna Alińska on the role of endowment in strengthening universities’ financial independence. We can clearly see the growing engagement of business in philanthropy, and such panels demonstrate how cooperation between academia, business, and social organizations can directly shape the future of education, innovation, and society.
Investing in education and intellectual capital means investing in future leaders and innovators – and the ultimate beneficiary of well-designed philanthropic and development initiatives is business itself.
