The first day of spring brought us a surge of inspiration! The Kozminski University Development Foundation became an ecosystem partner of the STARTUP FOUNDERS STARS event, which brings together students, experts, and founders in one place. Congratulations to the Student Government of Kozminski University and the Student Government of the Warsaw University of Technology for their excellent organization and collaboration!
Katarzyna Alińska, Managing Director of the Foundation, participated in the panel “Why are we here? Technology meets business,” where, alongside experts, she discussed the synergy and collaboration between academic and business environments. She also presented the activities of the Kozminski University Development Foundation, which manages Poland’s first academic endowment fund supporting innovative projects.
Filip Sobel, Kozminski University alumnus and founder of Staffly, shared his story “From idea to business,” inspiring young innovators.
Professor Paweł Korzyński took part in the panel “The new generation of business – how students can become entrepreneurs,” emphasizing the importance of courage and taking challenges while still in university. The professor also had an inspiring conversation with Agnieszka Kobus-Zawojska, Olympic multi-medalist, on motivation and the perseverance required to achieve goals.
Ten innovative technological and business projects from Warsaw-based universities were presented at the event, truly embodying the spirit of startups!
